The Nissan Tiida is the Grand prize in the companyâs three month promotion âWin Big Coreas Christmas Giveawayâ which was launched on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at the Coreas main office training room.
Chief Executive Officer of Coreas Hazells Inc. Joel Providence told media at the launch that the promotion was just another measure to demonstrate a higher level of corporate responsibility to its customers.
ââ¦We canât sustain profitability without ensuring that our customers get fair value for their purchase of our products,â Providence said.
Speaking on the specifics of the promotion, Chairman of the marketing team Jimmy Forde outlined that the promotion will cover all Coreas Stores, including Coreas Food Division, Coreas Mini Mart, Coreas Cement, Lumber and Heavy Hardware Departments, ACE Hardware in Kingstown and at Arnos Vale, the Automotive Department, Coreas Pharmacy, Diamond Woods at Diamond and Coreas Insurance.
He added that persons will be eligible for the promotion after completing a purchase of $50 or more. They will receive a ticket with a stub. The customer will fill out their personal information on the stub and deposit it in a bin at the stores. The customer will keep the ticket until the raffle is drawn. There will be one ticket given per transaction regardless of the size of the transaction.
Forde stated that the Nissan motor vehicle is worth about $75,000. He added that fifty consolation prizes of $100 gift vouchers will also be given. Forde explained that walk in customers at the wholesale department will be treated like retail customers. However, persons who send orders by fax or call in an order will have their stubs filled out for them and will receive their tickets with their invoice.
Forde, however, reassured that customers who make transactions in this manner will have their stubs entered into the promotion, as periodic checks will be made to verify that purchases were made and that tickets and stubs were given.
The promotion runs from October 12 to December 31, 2010. The draw for the car will take place at 4:30 pm on December 31, 2010. (OS)
