Tom Calthrop, Manager of TradeWinds Cruise Club, told SEARCHLIGHT
yesterday that two directors of TradeWinds Cruise Club, including âEdithâ who was referred to in our story âMen injured at partyâ of September 24, âasked Ollivierre to leave the beach immediately after the initial incident.â
Ollivierreâs right leg was almost severed during an attack on Princess Margaret Beach.
Calthrop told SEARCHLIGHT that Ollivierre, 37, is not employed with TradeWinds Cruise Club, but with The Yacht Club Inc, a St Vincent and the Grenadines registered company which provides services for TradeWinds Cruise Club Inc.
âTradeWinds Cruise Club Inc is a company with interests spread across both the Caribbean and Europe. We gather staff annually to discuss the coming yearâs activities and focus.
Representatives from The Yacht Club were present, as they provide services for TradeWinds Cruise Club Inc,â Calthropâs statement said.
Calthrop also made it clear that no employee of TradeWinds Cruise Club Inc or The Yacht Club Inc was involved in the alleged beating of Garnet âBughouseâ Shallow, the man who admitted to Searchlight that he chopped Ollivierre because he âfelt threatenedâ.
