Police auditorium to undergo repairs

If all goes well, police officers as well as civilians will be able to sit in cooler conditions at the Old Montrose Police Station auditorium.{{more}}

This was disclosed by Commissioner of Police, Keith Miller, on Friday August 20, 2010, as the curtains came down on the Police Band’s summer programme. The humid conditions saw some persons using make shift fans from their leaflets while other exited the room to savour the outdoor breeze.

“We are making an effort to have the auditorium repaired by changing the windows and even have air conditioning units installed in the classrooms…because our recruits have to undergo the same heat,” Miller revealed.

“Let’s hope by next year that we will be in more comfortable conditions,” stated Miller.
