HRA concerned

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Human Rights Association is “deeply concerned about the recent incidents of violence committed at the hands of the police.”{{more}}

A release from the Association dated August 16 and signed by President Nicole O.M. Sylvester is calling on the authorities “to carry out a thorough, transparent and prompt investigation into the death of Police Officer Kingsley John as well as the shooting incident at Barrouallie which led to the injury of several innocent victims, namely Britney/Jamaria Quashie, Kaywana Reece and Joselle Gaymes.”
