On Thursday, August 12, 2010 Fraserâs cousin Odinga Foster was charged with murder, which police believe occurred between October 8 and 10, 2009, at Arnos Vale.
Foster was also charged with agreeing with another person to steal and carry away 18-year-old Fraser without his consent, at Kingstown between September and October last year.
A third charge: imprisoning Fraser in such a manner as to prevent any person entitled to have access to him, at Arnos Vale between October 8 and 10, was also laid against Foster, 24, of Green Hill.
The charges are indictable, meaning that Foster would have to appear at a Preliminary Inquiry and therefore was not required to enter a plea.
Foster, who appeared before Senior Magistrate Donald Browne at the Magistrateâs Court in Kingstown, posed for SEARCHLIGHTâs cameras before entering the court.
After the charges were laid, Foster gave his father who was waiting outside the courtroom a hug before being taken away by members of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
He is to return to the Serious Offences Court on August 24, when a date to begin the PI will be set.
Also present while Foster was being charged, were Agassiâs parents Cauldric Fraser, Sr., and Barbara Fraser, and his older brother Cauldric Fraser, Jr., along with other family members and friends.
The gathering became visibly emotional as they gathered outside the courtroom, consoling each other as they wept openly.
The former St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College student went missing on the morning of Thursday, October 8, after running errands for his mother. He left home to visit his girlfriend who lived a short distance away.
His lifeless body was discovered on Saturday, October 10, a few feet away from Highway Trading, Arnos Vale.
Agassiâs disappearance was reported to the police on Friday, October 9th, which was followed by a $60,000 ransom demand.
Prior to his murder, Agassi was set to travel overseas to pursue studies in aviation.
