Hadaway was earlier charged with May’s murder on Monday, November 30, 2009, at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court.

The Preliminary Inquiry into the case has already heard three witnesses testify. The case was adjourned to the August 23 and 24, 2010, when twelve more witnesses are expected to testify. Dopwell has been remanded until those dates.

May succumbed to a gun shot wound on October 14, 2009, at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

It was reported that on October 13, a masked gun man approached May who was playing dominoes with friends at his usual hang out spot in Rose Place and shot him from a distance of about 20 feet. He was reportedly shot in the left side of his back.
