14 years for Bequia Apostolic Mission
The Bequia Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) Church celebrated their 14th Anniversary {{more}} on Sunday July 11 under the theme âRunning with the visionâ.
Believers from different churches were there to join in the celebration and to give congratulatory remarks. According to the organizers, the event was held in an effort to remove religious barriers. The Bequia AFM Church has been under the leadership of Rev. Daniel Bynoe and First Lady Joanne Bynoe for over thirty years, but relocated from the old building in Hamilton to its present location in Paget Farm fourteen years ago.
Joyful singing from the different groups in the church was preceded by the Pastorâs report. There was also a slide show comparing the old church in Hamilton to the present one in Paget Farm.
The guest speaker for the evening was Rev. Junior George, of the Vermont Miracle Tabernacle. He urged the believers that in running with the vision, they should live like a champion, because the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.
Remarks were also given by Deputy Director of Grenadines Affairs, Herman Belmar, on behalf of the Evangelical Churches, of which he is a member. He encouraged believers not to be sidetracked when theyâre running with the vision.
Sundayâs celebration ended in a series of praise and worship and deliverance songs.
The 14th anniversary service was followed this week by the Apostolic Faith Mission Churches annual Ministersâ Conference and a week of deliverance services. (DC)
