Murray’s Village resident discovered hanging from tree

Roland Carter, a Murray’s Village man, was found hanging from a tree at about 5a.m. on Wednesday.{{more}}

Reports are that the young man never regained consciousness, even though his relatives tried to revive him after cutting the curtain which he had used to make a noose.

It is said the 26-year-old employee of the St.Vincent Brewery Limited still had a pulse and heartbeat when he was lifted down from the tree.

When SEARCHLIGHT

visited his relatives later Wednesday, they were still in a state of shock as they pondered what might have driven Roland to take his own life.

The police are investigating the matter.
