Fraser receives Acer laptop from Courts
Young Chrislon Fraser may be on his way to becoming a public speaking prodigy.{{more}}
The ten-year-old won his second competition in the form of the Ministry of Healthâs public speaking competition and won himself an Acer laptop compliments Courts in the process.
The Kingstown Preparatory School student out spoke students from six other primary schools on June 22 at the Methodist Church Hall, to take the top spot for his second win as a public speaker.
He had won a Ministry of Education organized public speaking event last year.
Fraser, who placed third for boys in the recent Common Entrance examination, was presented with his laptop by Courts employee Dawnley Bacchus in a special ceremony at the furniture and appliance store in Kingstown this week.
Alexis John, Marketing Manager of Courts indicated that his company is committed to support the Ministry of Health in the competition, as it seeks to improve the knowledge of students on health issues, as they boost their research and communication skills.
âHealth Education has always been a major focus in our sponsorship guidelines, and the Courts brand is extremely delighted to be associated with the competition.
Courts also donated EC$500 towards the competition.
