NTRC to stage discussions

The National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (NTRC) will be staging a series of community discussions during the next five months.{{more}}

The first discussion was held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, held at the Golden Grove Learning Resource Centre, Fitz Hughes.

The role and function of the NTRC and projects being undertaken by the Universal Service Fund (USF) were the main issues discussed. These issues will also take precedence at the other meetings.

The release further stated that the NTRC will also be soliciting feedback on issues affecting residents in the area with respect to the telecommunication services being provided by LIME, Digicel and Karib Cable.

Senior officials from The NTRC will be making presentations and facilitating the discussions.
