Myers disclosed the recipe for her success: âI studied my notes and I practiced my Math.â
She registered scores of 98.33 percent in Mathematics, 90.91 percent in English and 93.33 percent in General Paper.
The very confident young lady said that she is yet to put thought into what career path she will choose, except to say that she is very excited about the future particularly attending secondary school.
Carol Smith, principal of the Windsor Primary School, described Myers as a good student throughout her years at the school.
Thandi is the daughter of Thornley and Deidre Myers of Brighton.
Smith basked in the moment of triumph as her school recorded a 100% pass rate; the third year in a row the feat has been accomplished.
This yearâs group was also the largest to write the Common Entrance in the schoolâs 20 years of existence.
And most notably, Smith said that during the past 5 years since she has been at the helm of the school, the school has occupied a spot in the top 10.
She spoke of the dedication of her staff, but added that the key to her schoolâs success was more than just focusing in on academics.
âWe also try to mix it up with extracurricular activities,â Smith told SEARCHLIGHT.
All this complemented by classrooms that are smaller than some of the other classrooms in the country, noting that the school fosters a family like environment, all of which has contributed tremendously to the success of the school.
