Green Hill men held in Bajan drug bust
Two Vincentians and a Grenadian were expected to make an appearance in the District 8 court in Bridgetown Wednesday, June 9, to face charges after being intercepted with 838.4 pounds of cannabis valued at BDS $1,676,000.
Allan Campbell (22) and Waldo Miller (24), both of Green Hill, and Khaled Patrice (24), of Carriacou, Grenada, were charged with possession of cannabis; possession with intent to supply; trafficking in cannabis and implication of cannabis.
According to the Barbados Drug Squad, the Barbadian authorities also had in their custody the vessel, which bore no name or registration number, in which the men were transporting the drugs.
The men were intercepted by a Barbadian Police Marine vessel during a Drug Squad led operation on Monday, June 7.
