A release from the NTRC said the proposed Price Cap Plan (PCP) was received from the Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority (ECTEL) to be approved by the National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (NTRC).
The proposed PCP provides limits to retail rates for certain telecommunications services provided by LIME, such as the rates for fixed to mobile and fixed to fixed calls. This consultation seeks comments from the stakeholders with regards to these rates among others, as the rates directly affect what is paid by the consumer.
To facilitate this consultation process, the proposed Price Cap Plan (PCP) document is available in electronic format on the Commissionâs website www.ntrc.vc and at its offices located on the 2nd Floor of the NIS Building, Upper Bay Street, Kingstown.
The Commission is requesting comments from stakeholders on the proposed PCP. The initial consultation period runs from May 3 to June 2, 2010. This will be followed by a comment on comments period from June 3 to June 17, 2010. As such, all initial comments must be submitted by June 2, 2010, and addressed to the National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission or emailed to ntrc@ntrc.vc.
