Digicel hands over supplies to Preschool

Digicel has once again shown its commitment to the community, with the handing over last week of a number of school supplies.{{more}}

On the receiving end of the company’s generosity this time was the Georgetown Methodist Preschool. Marketing Manager Juno DeRoche handed over the school supplies that will be used as part of the Preschool’s Saturday, May 29, Annual Tea Party and Fair.

“They asked for the supplies and we were glad to give it to them,” said DeRoche.

The donation was made on Wednesday, April 28, at Digicel’s Corporate Offices located in the Lewis Building on James Street.

Teacher at the school Meshel Jarvis said that the fair is being held in an effort to raise funds to buy much needed equipment for the school.
