Recognition Ceremonies for NICT students
The National Information Communication Technology Training Project – A Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines project financed by the European Union STABEX 1994 Funds will be hosting a series of Recognition Ceremonies throughout the island to award persons who were successful in certification examination in internationally certified ICT courses.{{more}}
The first in the series of Recognition Ceremonies was held in Bequia on April 15, 2010, at the Bequia Anglican Primary School, Port Elizabeth, where 18 graduates were formally presented with certificates in the International Computer Driving Licence and COMPTIA A+. The second Recognition Ceremony was staged in North Leeward on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 – at the Learning Resource Centre, Golden Grove, Chateaubelair. Some 55 beneficiaries officially received their certificates signifying their qualifications in the range of ICT courses – Introduction to Computers, International Computer Drivers License (ICDL), Certified Internet Professional (CIW) and COMPTIA A+.
The third Recognition Ceremony will be held today in Union Island on Friday, April 30, 2010, at the Union Island Secondary School, Ashton, at 4.00pm. Here, some 30 beneficiaries will officially be presented with their certificates of qualification in ICDL and COMPTIA A+.
Special Awards for Best Performance will also be presented to outstanding beneficiaries.(API)
