PRIME Minister Gonsalves is scheduled to visit three South American countries and Spain over the next four weeks.{{more}}

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves is currently out of the state at the start of a series of visits that will take him to Venezuela, Bolivia, Brazil and Spain over the next four weeks.

Gonsalves left the state on Sunday, April 18, at the head of a delegation to attend an ALBA meeting in Caracas. He is accompanied by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andreas Wickham, and Luke Browne.

From Venezuela, the Prime Minister and his delegation will visit Bolivia on official matters.

On April 25, Gonsalves will lead a five member delegation on a three-day official visit to Brazil. The other members of the delegation are his wife Eloise Gonsalves, Senator Michelle Fife, Budget Director Edmund Jackson, and Permanent Secretary Andreas Wickham.

Then on May 15, 2010, Prime Minister Gonsalves will lead a four-member delegation on an official visit to Spain. That delegation will include Eloise Gonsalves, Senator Saboto Caesar, and Permanent Secretary Andreas Wickham.

In these visits, Prime Minister Gonsalves will raise matters related to airport development, training and scholarships, bilateral relations and trade.(API)
