All a customer has to do to enjoy the benefits of the new promotion is top up EC$25 or more for the opportunity to get free texts messages, free credit, free international and local calls at nights and free Digicel to Digicel calls.

Speaking at the launch last Tuesday, April 20, Digicel’s Public Relations Manager for Eastern Caribbean, Jerry George, said on Tuesday that the company is aware of what people want.

“We are always seeking to do something positive and always refreshing what we do, as our first responsibility is to our customers.”

“So what we have done is we have packaged all these things and given them to our customers.”

“We have looked at the five things people like most and we have looked at a way to cost it so that they benefit, as we continue to ensure that we continually revolutionize the telecommunications market like we did when we came here seven years ago,” the public relations manager said.

Free calls begin at 10 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. (for five days).

Other features that Digicel customers will enjoy include EC$5 free credit and have the opportunity of five free text messages (SMS) after having sent five paid texts.

George also revealed on Tuesday that the Digicel promotion, “Free After 3”, which saw prepaid customers getting 30 minutes free talk time after they talked for three minutes has been improved.

Prepaid customers now get 55 minutes free.

Also, when prepaid and postpaid customers speak for five minutes on international calls, they get 30 minutes free. This applies to international calls made to the United States, United Kingdom (Landlines), Canada, Puerto Rico and the USVI.

“We have no fine print because we believe that if we say something that is what we are going to do.” (DD)
