Upon completion of his studies in 1984, he returned to the South Caribbean District where he served for 6 years as Superintendent Minister of the Georgetown/Mt. Coke Circuit in St. Vincent. He was then transferred to the St. Lucia Circuit where he served as Superintendent Minister for 5 years. During his tenure in St. Lucia, Job also served as Chairman of the St. Lucia Christian Council. He returned to St. Vincent in 1995 and served a second stint as Superintendent Minister for 7 years in the Georgetown/Mount Coke circuit. In 2001, he was assigned to the Kingstown/Chateaubelair Circuit as Superintendent Minister where he is presently serving and will be there until he retires at the end of August 2010. At the time of his retirement he will have served for 21 years as a Methodist Minister in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Besides serving as Superintendent of the various circuits, Rev. Job has also functioned in several administrative positions throughout his ministry. He served as secretary of various District Conference committees. He also served for 6 years (1995 to 2001) as the Secretary of the South Caribbean District Conference. In addition, Rev. Job has served in the highest office of the South Caribbean District of the Methodist church as District President for 6 years from 2002 to 2008.

During his 8-year tenure in the Kingstown /Chateaubelair Circuit, Job made an invaluable contribution to the ecumenical movement in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He served as Chairman of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Christian Council from 2003 to 2005 and is presently serving a second term in this office. Job, throughout his Ministry, has not only touched the lives of Methodists but persons in the community both in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and in the other Caribbean countries where he served. Since 1996 he has been serving as a Justice of the Peace in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. As a result of Rev Job’s sterling contribution to Methodism, ecumenism and the community, he was awarded the CMG in the Queen’s New Year honours of 2008.

Although Rev. Job is retiring from full time, active ministry, as a minister of the Gospel he will not be retiring from doing the Lord’s work of serving the church and God’s people. He remains a Methodist Minister in the Kingstown/Chateaubelair Circuit and will continue to serve wherever or whenever the need arises. Rev. Job’s life has been and will continue to be one of faithful and committed service to his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Job is married to Vincentian born Methalyn Job, formerly Samuel, who has been faithfully supporting him in his life and ministry since 1976. Together, they have three children – Trisha-Ann Moses in St. Vincent, and Vickilyn and Victor Jr. who are currently studying abroad.
