The SVG Coalition of Service Industries was launched in June 2008 as part of a regional effort by CARICOM to bolster the services component of the private sector.

The workshop will focus on “Facilitating Trade in Services”, and is being organised in collaboration with the OECS Secretariat and the Commonwealth Hub and Spokes Project. Facilitators will be drawn from the Trade Policy Unit of the OECS Secretariat, with the participants being service providers from both the public and private sectors.

It takes place at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commerce and Trade next Thursday, January 28th.

Trade Minister, Sir Louis Straker, will address the opening ceremony which begins at 9.00. in the morning.
