Twelve military trucks purchased from the British firm L. Jackson & Co. for use on the international airport project at Argyle will be painted yellow.{{more}}

In the latter part of 2009, 13 used military trucks painted in the camouflage green used by most armies were imported from Britain.

Prime Minister Dr.Ralph Gonsalves said on Monday one of the trucks will be used for parts. Hence, only 12 will be painted.

“The IADC, well that’s their decision…They say that’s a public relations issue. Personally, I wouldn’t have wasted paint on them, but that’s their decision,” said Gonsalves.
