Three win HitzFM Eve

Three lucky Vincentians are the winners of the Hitz FM Eve Breakfast promotion 2009.

The winners: Denise Wilson of Paul’s Avenue, Judy Bacchus also of Paul’s Avenue, and Guston Prince of Murray’s Village collected their prizes at the Coreas Food Division on Tuesday, December 29, 2009.{{more}}

Wilson told Searchlight that she wasn’t surprised that she was a winner as she won a small hamper in the 2008 promotion. Wilson walked away with a toaster oven.

Bacchus admitted that she was surprised upon hearing that she had won a hamper. She related that she was in the hospital and had just delivered a baby girl when she heard her name announced as a winner during a nine morning radio broadcast.

A reserved Prince stated that the announcement of his winning was “unexpected.”

The hampers were stocked with a range of Eve’s products.

Speaking at the short handing over ceremony, Assistant Divisional Manager at Coreas Foods Alec Crichton congratulated the winners and thanked all those who participated in the promotion which he said has been a great success.

Crichton added that the promotion, which was launched five years ago, partnered with Hitz FM in order to reach persons of all ages in St. Vincent.

The aim of the promotion is to market Eve’s products to the Vincentian public. The promotion included call in programmes on Hitz 103.7 where persons had to guess Eve’s products. Persons were also required to make breakfast with Eve’s products. The winners were selected from a draw done on Christmas Eve.
