Calliaqua Anglican School gets school supplies

The Calliaqua Anglican School is again expressing thanks.

This time to a past student Annis Creese who resides in the USA. Creese donated a quantity of school supplies to the school, which allowed each student to take home a small token at the reopening of school on Monday, January 4.{{more}}

Yvette Bowens, headteacher of the school, expressed heartfelt thanks to Creese as well as Pastor Colin Smith, of Christian life Ministries, who donated gifts on December 17, 2009, to a boy and girl from each class for excellence in academics and behaviour in Term 1. Mr. and Mrs. Sampson of Premier Distributors also came in for high praise for the donation of snacks given to each child on December 16, 2009.

Bowens also credits all the donations made to the school over the years as the favour of God.
