Every weekday morning at the crack of dawn, “Fire” journeyed to Searchlight’s Kingstown Park headquarters to ensure that the grounds were tidy and ready for the day’s business.

He will be remembered by Searchlight staffers as a reliable, loyal, caring and easy-going person. He was also employed at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Ports Authority.

Fire was the son of the late Laurell Dopwell of Paul’s Avenue and a member of the well-known Dopwell family of Kingstown. He leaves to mourn several siblings including Ras Ital, Ijahman, Yolande and Marilyn Dopwell.

His funeral service takes place at the St. George’s Cathedral in Kingstown on Tuesday, December 29.
