Jemise Ashby of the Pamelos Burke Government School, Romesha Ollivierre of the Petit Bordel Secondary School, Kadron Simmons of the St.Vincent Grammar School, and Merissa Williams of the Lauders Primary Schools will each receive a Dell laptop computer today.

Their institutions will each receive a desktop computer before the end of the year.

During the one month promotion, which ended on December 2nd, 2009, entrants received weekly KFC vouchers, Cell Phone refill cards and cases of Ju-C.

Richard Stovall, CEO of Bottlers (St.Vincent) Ltd, Ju-c’s parent company, said the promotion was staged to promote education during the Christmas season.

“Next year you’ll see us doing similar promotions for Ju-c, but also with Pepsi. They will be more guided towards schools and charity,” said Stovall, who has been with Bottlers for the past two years.

Dexter Thomas, officer with acting responsibility for Sales and Marketing, said the initiative helps Bottlers to give back to the community which has been supporting it for over 50 years.

“We just see it fit that we give back something to customers who have been committed and dedicated to us,” said Thomas.

Thomas said all being well Bottlers will continue to stage the programme.(HN)
