Vincentian called to Massachusetts Bar

YET another Vincentian has been called to the Bar. Joanna Daniel-Morris, formerly of Arnos Vale, was called to the Massachusetts Bar on December 2 before a small gathering of family and close friends.{{more}}

Daniel-Morris is a former beneficiary of the Caribbean Basin Initiative (CBI) Scholarships programme. She holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from from the Sawyer School of Management, at Suffolk University in Boston. She gained her Juris Doctor from the Southern New England School of Law in May this year, followed by her bar examinations in July. She is a graduate of the St. Vincent Girls’ High School.

Before migrating to the US she worked at the then National Development Corporation as well as the National Commercial Bank. A practising Accountant, Daniel Morris has always had a penchant for the law and decided to pursue a new career in this field a few years ago. She passed the Bar at her first try in June this year.

She is the daughter of Environmental Health Officer/Educator, the late Urbane Daniel, and educator Arrel Daniel, and younger sibling of journalist Theresa Daniel.
