Twenty graduate in cake making and decoration

Twenty women on Union Island have just completing a three-month course in cake making and decoration.{{more}}

The course was run by “White Lady Productions”, which is managed by Sherma Selby/Adams of Union land.

According to Adams, the course included the making of plain cakes, character cakes, wedding cakes, cheese, marble, egg-less chocolate and fruit cakes, donuts, cookies, and even diabetic cakes.

The training activity was designed to empower participants to earn a living. The cake making and decorating course was sponsored by the Division of Adult and Continuing Education in the Ministry of Education.

A display of cakes was held in Clifton, on Sunday, November 29. The general public was invited to view the work of the graduates. (DD)
