The Christmas season is off to a fabulous start for four lucky LIME customers who won cash and other exciting prizes in the first prize draws of LIMEâs 2009 Christmas Promotion.{{more}}
LIME recently unveiled its âChristmas Goodie Bagâ campaign that, in addition to offering customers the chance to win cash, attractive gifts, mobile handsets and petrol vouchers, also includes a text-to-win competition offering instant prizes and discounts on practically all of LIMEâs products and services.
Among the promotionâs early winners is Desron Chance, who qualified for the draw when he text the word XMAS to 5463. Chance, ecstatic about his win, said: âThis is it!! There is no way that I can leave LIME. I won a camera for Summer and now I won a BlackBerry Gemini. I can now be part of the BlackBerry Revolution, and I also look forward to winning the Grand Prize of $50,000. What a Christmas I am having already!!â
Also excited about her winnings was Mahalia Toney of Georgetown, who won US $200 for paying her bill on time and in full. Mahalia said: âThis prize was not expected. I pay all the time and this has to be a God send. I relay didnât expect to see Christmas come so early. Thanks to LIME.â
Country Manager for LIME, Angus Steele, said: âThe promotion is off to a great start â but this is just the beginning. For the next five weeks many more people will have the chance to win prizes and cash from LIME in our prize draws and just about everyone who does business with us can claim an instant prize.â
To qualify for the weekly prize draw, customers just have to top up their prepaid phones; pay any LIME bill in full and on time; talk for a total of three minutes in one day; sign up for a new service or upgrade an existing service; sign up for an E account or pay LIME bills by direct debit.
Customers also have the option of texting âXMASâ to LIME (5463) to qualify for the draws and also for a chance to win instant prizes, including DVD and MP3 players, diaries, toys, games and Michael Jackson CDs. Each text costs $1.
Other winners in the first weekly draw were Jacqueline Danzell of Diamond, who text the word XMAS to 5463, and Anelcia Simmons of Villa, who qualified when she topped up.
Prize draws will be held twice weekly until January 6, when the grand draw will take place.
