Lowmans Wd school donates to villagers

Eight elderly persons in the Lauders, Hadley’s Village and Lowmans communities were on the receiving end of food packages, donated by students of the Lowmans Windward Anglican School.{{more}}

The students and teachers visited the homes of the aged villagers just over two weeks ago, singing songs, before handing over the food baskets, which were provided by the students’ parents and guardians.

The students also received gifts from the senior citizens in the form of stories of their past school days, and were read to by the elderly.

The exercise was done as part of World Food Day and Community Service Day.
