Vincentian Student Receives University Open Scholarship
Twenty-year-old Kimberley Joânique Cambridge, daughter of Leroy and Gwenette Cambridge of Rockies, was awarded a University of the West Indies Open Scholarship based on her performance in the 2009 University Scholarship Examination.{{more}}
Cambridge is now at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies where she is pursuing a degree in Psychology.
Kimberley is a graduate of the St.Maryâs Roman Catholic School, the Girlsâ High School and the Community College. At the Girlsâ High School she was the Young Leaders Debating Champion in 2004, the French Public Speaking Champion in the same year, and in 2005 obtained the Award for Humanities and a Special Award for French. At the Community College she obtained a Special Award for Psychology.
Her hobbies and interests are in playing and teaching the piano, reading, travelling and learning about Forensic Psychology.
The University of the West Indies Open Campus in St. Vincent and the Grenadines extends congratulations to Kimberley and wishes her all the best in her studies.
