The Ministry of Tourism recently awarded Shaquille Browne of the Thomas Saunders Secondary School. This as Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) awarded students for participation in their 2009 Foundation for Caribbean Children Essay Contest.{{more}}

Shaquille was recognized for being this Country’s finalist in the senior division of the 2009 contest, by receiving a cheque for US$200.00 from the FCCA. Shaquille wrote on the topic “During this global economic downturn, what can a destination, which lives on tourism do to persuade more ships to come to their destination?”
