Last Wednesday, 25 of Digicel’s customers were rewarded with back to school packages that among other things afford them the opportunity to receive EC$100 worth of food from Bickles.{{more}}

Handing over the packages, Marketing Executive Edmund Joachim explained that although school may have opened a month ago, Digicel is still thinking about the welfare of the nation’s children.

Commented Joachim: “We decided to do a promotion and 25 of our customers received a back to school package which is made up of a Digicel back pack; a pencil case; a notepad; pencils; pens; a $25 phone card and a EC$100 food voucher booklet for Bickles”.

One of the winners, Redemption Sharpes resident Tamara Antrobus said that she was “happy and excited.” She revealed that the supplies will go to her younger brother. Another winner, Velma Cottle, said: “I feel great. It’s nice because I was never lucky to win something, so I’m excited.” The Rillan Hill resident said that she has one daughter who is in secondary school.

Persons were selected as winners in the ‘Back to School’ promotion when they topped up EC$15 or more, purchased a handset, made a purchase at Bickles, talked for three minutes or more (free after 3), talked for five minutes or more (free after 5) or paid their bill on time.
