The Sandy Bay Secondary School’s Scout Troop recently ventured out on their first event for the term. They hiked to La Soufriere on Saturday, September 14.{{more}}

For some it was the first time ever travelling over such rugged terrain, so it was very challenging. Despite the difficulties, the scouts devised a project to gather all garbage found along the trail.

Also, other villagers were invited, and with their cutlasses they made a good clearing for those who journeyed behind. The hike was very successful, with no recorded injuries. Forthcoming events include a trip to Falls of Baleine and Trinity Falls.
