Just last Friday ten Vincentians each collected $1,000 in cash from Digicel’s Corporate Offices in the Lewis Building on James Street.

The Digicel customers were rewarded with the cash as part of Digicel’s Loyalty Programme through which the telecommunications company seeks to reward all of its prepaid customers with $1,000.

Receiving money were Jestina Quashie, Clive David (Ryan Baptiste collected on his behalf), Monica Mason, Lionel Richards, Alex Chance, Leonard Anderson (his wife Eugena Anderson collected on his behalf), Jerrod Quow, Laurine Jones (Monique Audain collected on her behalf), Shariel Bowman and Gomer Guevarra.

Quashie, who has been with Digicel since its inception on the local market, described herself as “feeling good”.

Mason added: “This is a great service. I enjoy it very much and I’m very satisfied with the long distance packages, especially when I call England — the calls last very long.”

Additionally, Richards added: “This is a great service. I enjoy it especially when I use my phone to call Grenada.”

Another winner, Anderson, said: “It is exciting to have won. This is an excellent service and I have been using it without any problems from Day One.”

The money was handed over by Digicel’s Marketing Executive Edmund Joachim, who thanked the winners for choosing “the bigger better network”.
