Bequia Digicel customer wins Dell laptop computer

Last Friday, September 11th, Bequia resident Celia Ashton (in photo above) became the proud owner of a Dell laptop, free of cost, thanks to telecommunications firm Digicel.{{more}}

Ashton, who thanked Digicel for allowing her to own her first laptop, hails from the Grenadine island of Bequia. The worker with the Public Works Department received the computer after winning the text PLAY to 7171 ‘Back to School Promotion’. She collected the laptop from Marketing Manager Edmund Joachim at the Corporate Offices of Digicel located in the Lewis Building on James Street.

“I’m excited. I always wanted a laptop, and this is great because I just recently bought a desktop about a month ago,” said Ashton who revealed that she will be exploring the possibility of using her new laptop to make designs for her handiwork.

“Thanks very much, and I will continue to support Digicel because they are very efficient,” said Ashton.
