Roamin gets great reviews on SVGTV!
Hot off a sizzling month that has been generating tremendous buzz, Roamin, the Caribbean entertainment programme shown exclusively SVGTV in St.Vincent, has received great reviews.{{more}}
Information coming from ALT Entertainment in Barbados, the producer of the show, indicates that from the number of text messages received, the show has an average of 8,000 viewers and over 400 texts per episode in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Sealey says: âRoamin is a unique program, and the fact that viewers can see their live texts is a great innovation for the Vincentian market, and such high viewership is great news for SVGTV who is currently revitalizing its programming.â She further added that while âThe Evening Newsâ is the flagship product of SVG, it is encouraging to see that persons are still tuning into SVGTV at that time of night; therefore, indicating significant sponsorship/advertising opportunities to businesses that are catering to the 18-35 age group.
SVGTV believes that the showâs high viewership is due to the fact that it enables viewers to text comments directly to the TV during Roamin, the fact that Roaminâ correspondents continue to cover the hottest parties whilst highlighting some amazing parts of the Caribbean that one never dreamed about in the âIn The Caribbean Sectionâ, as well the Caribbean Top 5 video count down and the latest and greatest Caribbean music videos from all across the region. Furthermore, it reaches a lot of the ârisk groupsâ out there for a lot of social ills and as such takes its social responsibility seriously. It is aired each Thursday at 9:10 pm exclusively on SVGTV.
