The camp, which was held at the Girl Guides Headquarters at Level Gardens, got started on Monday and saw the students participating in a number of activities ranging from group discussions to field trips.
While at camp, the youngsters were visited by professionals in various fields of work who gave them first hand knowledge on topics such as health and personal hygiene, introduction to drama, life skills, dancing, dub/rapping and arts and craft.
There were also motivational speeches from Methodist Lay Preacher Monty Maule, Dr. Jules Ferdinand and Senator Rochelle Forde.
The camp is expected to conclude this afternoon with an exhibition and barbecue at the Girl Guides Headquarters, where the students will display work covered over the last five days and receive certificates of participation.
This is the third camp being hosted by the Soroptimist International of SVG. The first was held in 2004.(JJ)
