Exciting Summer with prizes planned by LIME

LIME customers can look forward to a bumper summer season loaded with prizes and giveaways, courtesy of the Caribbean’s leading full-service telecommunications provider.{{more}}

On Monday July 6 the company launched ‘U R It With LIME’, its 2009 summer promotion which offers customers chances to win instant and weekly prizes valued at over Sixty five thousand dollars ($65,000).

To qualify for a chance to win the fabulous instant and weekly prizes up for grabs, customers simply have to top up $20 or more, text the word ‘UP’ to 5463, or make a call that lasts 5 minutes or longer. In addition, customers signing up for any LIME service (landline, Internet, mobile prepaid or post-paid service) will also get the chance to win instant prizes and be entered for the weekly draws. The prizes include cash, BlackBerry 8900 Smart phones, cameras, Nintendo games, backpacks, folding chairs as well as gift certificates for clothing, groceries, petrol, spa services, school supplies and lots more.

“This is going to be a spectacular summer, with LIME giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars in weekly and instant prizes to our customers across the Caribbean,” said LIME Country Manager, Angus Steele. “This translates into fantastic savings and great value for money, allowing several hundred customers an opportunity to enjoy at least one of the several prizes at stake. Our customers are obviously very dear to us,” he concluded.

Adding some spice to what is already an enticing promotion, LIME has teamed up with reggae superstars Beenie Man and Cecile to produce a theme song for the ‘U R It With LIME’ promotion. The dynamic duo also recorded a music video for the track which is sure to set the region’s airwaves on fire. The video will complement the U R It commercials and will be featured at “U R It” summer events. It is highly anticipated that LIME’s summer theme song will have crowds throughout the Caribbean rocking to its catchy rhythm. A squad of gorgeous gals and guys called the LIME It Crew will help to spread the joy and keep the excitement boiling over at “U R It” summer events. Look out for them dressed in stylish LIME branded gear. LIME summer events will feature lots of great music and dance-offs with participants jamming to the ‘U R It’ track. Everyone in attendance will have opportunities to win giveaways and prizes.
