The vests were handed over on Friday, June 12th, at a brief ceremony at the police headquarters in Kingstown. Sergeant Nero received the vests on behalf of the department from Conroy McBarnette, the group’s local representative.

Speaking on behalf of the group, McBarnett said that they have noted the hard work the officers in the traffic branch are doing and thought it fit to show their appreciation.

A vote of thanks was done on behalf of the Commissioner and other ranks of the police force by Inspector Kenneth John.
