Lucky mothers to receive Digicel food vouchers

In keeping with Digicel’s theme of ‘FREE’, three lucky mothers now have the opportunity to earn themselves $500, $300 or $200 in free groceries every month for one year.{{more}}

The three mothers became winners following Digicel’s Mother’s Day Promotion held on Sunday, May 10.

The three lucky mothers will now face off in a competition to see who will get the different prizes. They will be taken to C.K. Greaves Supermarket, where they have three minutes to fill a cart and the mother whose cart has the highest cash value when the time expires, will receive a $500 voucher each month, starting next month, to shop at the supermarket every month until June next year.

The second highest cart value will receive a $300 voucher each month, with the third place receiving a $200 voucher each month until June next year.

During the launch of ‘Free After 3’ earlier this week, Marketing Manager of Digicel, Juno DeRoche, introduced two of the mothers to the media. They were Edmira Walker of Greggs and Sandra Carrington of Sion Hill. Glen resident Terry Regis was absent due to a prior engagement.

“In keeping with the theme ‘FREE’, we ran a promotion where when you top up $15 or more, or purchased a handset, you became eligible for our supermarket sweepstakes; this is all about giving back to our customers and thanking you for supporting the bigger and better network,” DeRoche said.

The Marketing Manager added that Digicel always seeks ways to make things easier for its customers, as “This is an example of what Digicel can do for you. We are here to make things better not just in terms of communication, but lifestyle as well.”

Walker, who is a teacher at the Greggs Primary School, said she is “excited and overwhelmed at winning,” while the somewhat softspoken Carrington stated: “I feel great.”
