FirstCaribbean tunes up GHS Steel Orchestra
Members of the GHS Steel Orchestra, are the proud recipients of two brand new tenor pans, thanks to the local branch of FirstCaribbean International.{{more}}
The Girlsâ High School Steel Orchestra was established in 1980 and is now in the process of rebuilding and replacing some of the instruments in its possession since then. FirstCaribbeanâs assistance has come in response to
that re-building process and to aid the band in its preparations for this yearâs Junior Panorama Competition. Last year, the band placed third in that competition.
FirstCaribbean contributed some six thousand dollars, to cover the cost of the two new tenor pans.
