Vincentians in Toronto invited to Diaspora conference

Vincentians in the Greater Toronto area are invited to attend a Diaspora conference to be held at 941 Progress Avenue (Centennial College Student Centre) in Scarborough on May 16, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Major intersection: Markham Road and Highway 401).{{more}}

Ambassador Ellsworth John, representatives from the National Investments Promotions Inc. (NIPI), the St. Vincent and the Grenadines National Insurance Services, and the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Office, Toronto, along with His Excellency Brendon Browne, High Commissioner to the OECS will give addresses and presentations at the conference.

Interviews with Consul General Steve Phillips and Ambassador Ellsworth John can be heard on CHRY (http://www.chry.fm) on May 15 at 7 p.m.; on May 9th at 8:30 a.m. on the same station, Alex Waithe will interview the chair of Vincy Homecoming Japheth Trumpet.
