Brian ready for challenge at LIAT
The Board of Directors of LIAT Wednesday announced that Brian Challenger would now be in charge of the day-to-day operation of the company until a new Chief Executive Officer is appointed.{{more}}
LIATâs Chairman, Dr. Jean Holder, said that Mr. Challenger has had a long working relationship with the company and has been serving as a member of the Board of Directors since 2006.
âWorking from LIATâs head office in Antigua, Mr. Challenger will ensure continuity and will see to the smooth operation of the company as the Board continues the process of identifying and putting in place a new Chief Executive Officer,â Dr. Holder said.
âWe would like to assure our customers, suppliers, employees and the public at large that despite the change in the companyâs leadership, our focus and mission remain the same – to transform LIAT into a profitable carrier, dedicated to high quality customer service,â added Dr. Holder.
Mr. Challengerâs background is in Aviation Law and he has been involved in LIATâs operations over the last 10 years in various capacities.
