Kimya Glasgow is top Vincy designer

Kimya Glasgow has been awarded as top Vincentian designer at the Caribbean Fashion Awards, which was held at the Hilton Hotel in Barbados on Saturday, 11th April, 2009.{{more}}

The Caribbean Fashion Awards was conceptualized in effort to showcase artistry through fashion, to recognize the achievements of individuals and entities in the region’s fashion arena and also to award those who have given of their time to promote and develop Caribbean Fashion for the last 30years.

This was the second Caribbean Fashion Awards ceremony. The Caribbean Fashion Awards extended a warm welcome to over 10 Caribbean countries to participate in this spectacular event, first held in Trinidad and Tobago in April 11-13th 2008. The countries invited included, Barbados, Jamaica, Antigua, St. Kitts, Guyana, St. Thomas USVI, St. Vincent and St. Lucia.
