JEMS to host Southeast Environmental Awareness tour

In commemoration of Earth Day 2009, JEMS Progressive Community Organization and Projects Promotion Ltd. are sponsoring a Southeast Environmental Awareness Tour on Saturday, April 25, beginning at 1 p.m. Interested groups and individuals from all over the country are invited to attend.{{more}}

The tour will begin at the JEMS office in Enhams and end at Rawacou. The tour party will travel through Dembar, and along the way observe the old water catchment facilities, exiting at St Clair Dacon Secondary School in Carapan, heading back to the main road at the Stubbs clinic, then onto the ridge over-looking Milligan Cay from King’s Hill. The tour party will then journey to Rawacou where the tour will conclude. It is expected to take approximately one-and-a-half hours.

Participating groups should wear their group jerseys. Individual participants may wear white t-shirts. Participants are advised to take water with them.
