SVG HATA News receives Printed Newsletter Newsworthy Award
During the recently concluded Annual Convention of the 32-member Caribbean Society of Hotel Association Executives (CSHAE) which was held at the Orlando Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Hotel and Tourism Associationâs quarterly newsletter – SVG HATA News – received the coveted regional Printed Newsletter Newsworthy Award for 2009.{{more}} In 2007, this newsletter received the Newsworthy Award for Excellence in Tourism Awareness.
In accepting the award, the Associationâs Executive Director, Dawn W. Smith, said that the Newsletter is yet another example of the opportunities created by todayâs technology for small organizations with limited financial resources. The newsletter is distributed to the associationâs membership, and to other local, regional and international tourism stakeholders.
