Digicel’s Nelson Bloc Mas launches this weekend
The grounds of the Bishopâs College will be a hub of activities this Easter Monday, as Digicelâs Nelson Bloc Mas band holds the official launch of its band for Vincy Mas 2009.{{more}}
This yearâs production is entitled: âFuture Shockâ, and will include the sections: UV Rays, Bling Bling, Rejuvination, Enimaf, Shattered Soul and Aueolites, among others.
Public Relations Officer Sean âTanaâ Brewster said that this year will be different, as patrons can look forward to an exciting production. Brewster said their main aim this year is to capture the title of Band of the Year.
Nelson Bloc has been in existence for the past 26 years and has won nine band titles, including 2 hat tricks.
The launch will commence at 3pm with bouncing castles for the children, among other treats. Dynamic Guys will provide the music for the event.
