Apart from being presented with the opportunity to win big bucks, Rhynd was provided with an all expenses paid two-day trip for two to Barbados to watch the game. Rhynd took along her sister Asunta.

During the lunch break, Rhynd was given the opportunity to win the $100,000 as she made two attempts to hit one cricket stump that was placed at the end of a cricket pitch. Unfortunately, Rhynd missed.

On her return to St Vincent, Rhynd journeyed to Digicel’s Corporate Offices located in the Sprott Building on Bay Street and was presented with a portrait of the West Indies Cricket Team signed by the members of the cricket team.

The lucky winner, who describes herself as a sports fan, won the trip after she texted BOWL to 4748. “I enjoyed myself,” said Rhynd, stating it was the second time she had won something from Digicel. “I won a cell phone and $10,000.”

Rhynd admitted she enjoys participating in Digicel’s promotions, stating she thinks the nation’s fastest growing telecommunications company “tries to help consumers; they give back a lot, not just to individuals, but to the community.”

“Customers feel confident with Digicel because they know that they will eventually be rewarded,” Rhynd said.
