Canouan heroes awarded

As the nation celebrated National Heroes’ Day last weekend, the Wells of Living Water Ministries Church on the island of Canouan had their own Heroes Day Celebration. Sunday, 15th March, was a day where the founding members and long serving ones were honoured for their service and contribution to the community and to the Church.{{more}}

The morning service was dedicated to such persons, and the committee which came together to organise the service prepared lunch for everyone in attendance. The awards service came as a surprise for those individuals being honoured, as well as the church.

Other persons were also shown appreciation, but the day belonged to the Heroes of the Church and community. The evening service took the form of worship, celebration and thanksgiving to end of a wonderful day.

This week, 22nd to the 28th March, was dedicated to Prayer and Fasting, and ends on Sunday, March 29th, with a baptism for new converts who accepted the Lord in a Revival Service held during the first week in February at the Church.
