The event was chaired by talk show host Elwardo G. Lynch, who proclaimed that he is a “Chato” man – naming those who are his friends, and places they hung out when he was growing up.

In his presentation, Roland ‘Patel’ Matthews said that when the NDP takes Office, the government will bear the cost of students’ GCE and CXC examinations.

Opposition Leader Arnhim Eustace reiterated his intention to remove Value Added Tax (VAT) from over 60 food items, and Vynette Frederick, who spoke last, told the audience that she intends to contest the next General Elections in the West St George constituency.

The NDP aims to hold their next public meeting in Greiggs.
