On Monday, the management of Spectacle Shoppe donated a desk and two chairs to the home located at Cane End in the Marriaqua Valley.

Receiving the furniture on behalf of the home were Sister Gertrude Tankai and House Mother Janis James. The presentation was made by Annis Nanton on behalf of The Spectacle Shoppe.

The Guadelupe Home, a home for abused girls and those at high risk, was opened in 2007. It currently houses five girls. (JJ)
